We love our cars (I’m a classic car collector that applies double for me!).  And many families have up to two cars within their household.  So car buying is a big part of the financial literacy equation.  Americans Well-informed on Automobile Retailing Economics — A.W.A.R.E. — was established to help car buyers have a greater understanding of the finance process.  Their website is packed with great information everyone should have a greater understanding of when they are buying a car.  A.W.A.R.E.’s goal is to make consumers well-informed car buyers.  Certainly a worthy goal and a key component of overall financial literacy.
